Marcus Miller ______the BASS MAN!
Čiča Marcus M. jedan je od mojih VELIKIH glazbenih uzora. Pravi je primjer virtuozniteta koji funkcionira u harmoniji s kreativnim genijem... Također čiča M. pravi je primjer glazbenog kameleona... ožežao se o jazz sa stričekom Miles Daviesom ali i u electro disco jazz ala M-Base '90 pa i u moderne R'n'B vode ovog nam senčurija.
Marcus Miller Rođen je 14.Jun.1959. u Brooklynu (NY). Najpoznatiji je kao Grammy Award winning basista ali on se paća u produkciju, kompoziciju te također vlada sa nekoliko instrumenata i publika mu ima sposobnost levitacije za vreme koncerta.
M. je klasično obrazovan... školovao se kao klarinetist te također svira bas klarinet, saxofon, klavijature, gitaru i dobar je vokal.. Karijeru je počeo kao studijski glazbenik što je i radio 15 godina. Za to vrijeme usavršio je tehniku slapa (do umobolne razine) i razvio specifičan stil sviranja frettles bajsa. Mislim da diskografija govori sama za sebe kao i imena muzičara s kojima je svirao..

Tales je album u kojeg prožimlju duhovi Billie Holiday, Charlie Parkera, Lester Younga, Đuke Ellingtona, Joe Zawinulla, Daviesa, Lester Bowiea i Eric Galea. Također i isječci Bill Cosbya u "The Bill Cosby Intro". Albumček je orijentiran na jazz i dojde taman između perioda ranih '90ih kad ga je prao ritam iz a denser beat i novijeg perioda kad ga pere R'n'B. Također, Tales ima nominaciju za ''Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Jazz Performance'' 1996.g.
Naslovna stvar je nominirana za ''Grammy for Best Instrumental Composition''. Snimano je u živo ''Right Track Recording'' studiu u Nju Jorku, u ''Camel Island'' i u ''Complex Studios'' LA.... hahaha.... il je htio ispast ambiciozan il se svadio s producentima :-)..

Tu je više otišao u R'n'B vode sa pokojim funky-jazz izletom. Ali ovo je jebachky isproduciran i izaranžiran album.. Primjer modernog ritam end bluza kakav se meni dopada.
